Brasstown Sluice

The third component of Brasstown Falls is Brasstown Sluice. I was able to get this view from the side by following a path downstream from Brasstown Veil, which I featured yesterday. Unfortunately I had no way to get around for a head-on picture of the sluice.

George, I think this side shot of the falls is a wonderful angle to enjoy the view. Well done!

You did a beautiful job, George. That's a wonderful photo.

Glad you liked Southford Falls. Come on up some time or use the picture or whatever. It's a neat place. Used to be a paper mill, so the falls are really an invention. and a beautiful one at that.

Well this way you get the rock view as well as the falls. So it is still a great shot.:)

Cascade, veil, sluice — I am learning so many words to describe waterfalls from you. Love it.

Love this one too! The entire Brasstown series is beautiful!

Falls always interest me, as we have no falls in our country. It's all very flat as you have seen. There are a few hills near the German border in the east of the Netherlands. Thanks for your visit.

I love that water in that way photographed. It is like a veil of bride.
