Icicles for a Hot Day

When Betsy and I were at Mt. Nebo, Arkansas, in March of this year, we had an ice storm one night. We woke up to these icicles on the eaves of our cabin. It's so hot here in Tennessee now that I thought this picture would be a good way to make it seem cooler.

...and you would be right George, I do feel a lot cooler. It has been in the mid 90's here in south Florida...
and I haven't seen icicles in 25 years!
Your photo is wonderful, George. I like the black and white effect, it gives it dramatic look.
Thanks for sharing.

You're right ... I already feel cooler especially since our temps are in the mid 90's and with the humidity it seems hotter.

thanks for cooling us off;~)

Does make for a refreashing change. Here we have to make our own icicles. My husband runs the sprinkler at night for us.

Nice shot of the icicles. I could sure use some here in Texas. We are burning up and everything around us. I do not like cold weather, but would take a little now.

Thanks. Since it was 100 here today, I enjoyed the icicles. I love to see them hanging like that.
