Bama Bound Day Lily

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

As a die-hard Tennessee Vol, Betsy doesn't think much of the Alabama Crimson Tide.  But even Betsy admits that this day lily, Bama Bound, is a beauty.  It grows near the back of our house where we can enjoy it from our deck.

My first thought when I saw the name was that I was surprised Betsy allowed that one in the yard! Haha!

Know nothing about the ball team, but know without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful blooms ever. Never saw one this color. What a pleasure it would be waking each day and seeing sights such as this.

Wow Wow Wow!!!! I do not remember seeing this one on Betsy's blog a few minutes ago. This is outrageously awesome, I have never seen one like it!!! You really need to put some out front so everyone can see it! Is it a new one?? Well, I mean, a new breed and new to you, too.

The contrasting colours of this day lily are lovely. Growing some near your deck where you can sit and enjoy them was a good idea.
